Christmas!!!

Here are our Christmas photos . . .finally. These are not pictures of Melissa and I aimlessly pushing Lucas around Chicago like the last blog -- but actual Resch family Christmas pictures. Melissa's parents came into town to spend Christmas with us and
it was very nice. We shopped, ate, shopped, and had the opportunity to spend some wonderful time with Matt, Emily, Rebekah, Kate, and Ben. Christmas was fun. Lucas received lots of gifts from friends, parents, and Santa. He was a very happy and content child with all of the toys and especially wrapping paper to chew on. Christmas morning Lucas came into the living room and was instantly taken aback by the volume of new stuff to pick up and play with. We sat him down in front of his little people farm and he loved the sounds and interaction it provided. We then opened a present from Santa for Lucas . . .a peek a blocks train!!! Also a favorite of little Lucas. Christmas was definitely more fun with a child. It made the process more exciting and special. Melissa and I are anxious to begin our own little family traditions and witness the excitement and joy of our kids and family at Christmas. Every year will just get better. We love and miss all of you.

Brawts, Stuffed pretzels, spiced cider oh my!!

Chicago has so many great things going on during the holidays and pretty much year round. One of which is the German market. It was so much fun there were some great crafts, great food, and great decorations.
